Spanish/English speaking Design/Build Project Architect
| Location Charleston, South Carolina. Seeking a registered architect to work in a design/build commercial and residential developments in the Caribbean and Latin America. Candidate must hold a current license and also be capable of designing projects, reviewing, approving, and stamping drawings for submission to local authorities to obtain building permits. Must have 3 to 5 years experience and be bilingual in Spanish. The skills and attributes required for this position include strong verbal and written communications. In addition, applicant must:
* Have a bachelors degree or advanced industry designation
* Experience in the design of concrete and steel structures
* Knowledge of codes, standards, criteria and design execution
* Know how to use STAAD, RISA 3D, Revit, AUtoCAD or Microstation, Enercal etc
* Prepare designs for steel and concrete foundations, structures, framing layouts, connection details
* Develop/review project cost and quantity estimates
* Perform review of projects assuring AQ/QC requirements are met
* Be willing to travel, domestic and international. |
